Rap nowadays

Nowadays, Rap songs consists of many topic Thuggin', smoking, shooting, gang-life, women and sex. Rap songs  are diverse, they're not just about bad things but also about life, things around us, love and much more.

Another fact of modern day rap is that hooks are often repetitive and simple.  A hook could drive a song and add to the importance of the verses. But a listener would have to understand what the artist was saying to notice any of these things in the first place. With so much auto-tune and mumbling nowadays, it's hard to tell. However, there is hope for the world of mainstream artists. Storytellers like J.Cole may not have the "turn up" qualities of most songs but they do leave you with an impression. They not only reach your ears but, sometimes even your heart. Then there's the man who some say is the savior of modern rap: Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick's Grammy-winning album To Pimp A Butterfly discusses problems of today's society and uplifts African Americans.

Actually, Joji is asking an ex-girlfriend whether she will still remember all the best things about their relationship; kissing, dancing (or sex?), cuddling.

He also asks if she will remember the things he did right when her new lover does them wrong or “slips up” in the slightest.

Musicส่วนใหญ่เพลงแร็พสมัยใหม่นั้นได้ผสมผสานกับ Dubstep ที่เรียกว่า Trap music  ในด้านดนตรีมันเป็นส่วนผสมของบรรยากาศแบบ cinematic ยิ่งใหญ่ ๆ แกรนด์ ๆ โดยใช้เสียงสังเคราะห์จาก synthesizer เสียงไฮแฮทสั้น ๆ รัว ๆ เสียงสแนร์ที่กระชับและเร็ว เสียง kick drum ตูม ๆ ใหญ่ ๆ และ drum sample หนัก ๆ จาก Roland TR-808 Drum Machine ถ้ามีเนื้อร้อง เสียงร้องมักจะผ่าน sound effect เพื่อสร้างเสียงก้อง เสียงยาน หรือบิดเสียงร้องไปตามย่านเสียงต่าง ๆ และเนื้อร้องของเพลง trap มักจะพูดถึงชีวิตของชนชั้นล่าง ความหยาบ ๆ ห่าม ๆ ดิบ ๆ คำหยาบเยอะ ๆ หรือที่เรียกกันว่า thug life

มีบางศิลปินที่ผสมผสานความเป็น Hip-hop กับ Metal แต่มันก็ยังไม่ดังมาก มันดังเป็นวงแคบๆแค่คนที่ฟัง เฮฟวี่เมทัล ซะส่วนใหญ่ จนมาในปี 2559 X ก็ได้ปล่อยซิงเกิ้ลเพลงชื่อว่า ' Look at Me ' เพลงนี้มันดังสนั่นหวั่นไหว แต่ไม่ใช่ว่า พอปล่อยเพลงออกมาปุ๊ปดังปั๊ปเลย มันจะมีเวลาของมัน กว่าเพลงนี้จะดังมากๆจริงๆคือปี 2560 ซึ่งหลังจากปล่อยเพลง Look at Me ออกมาได้ปีนึงเต็มๆเลยครับ มันดังจนชนิดที่ว่า ติด Billboard hot 100

สไตล์การแต่งตัวของrapperมีดังนี้
1.Wear oversized 
สิ่งตรงข้ามกับ Streetwear มากที่สุดคือคำว่า Slim fit  rapperหลายๆคนนิยมแต่งตัวแบบStreet เพราะความสะบายไร้กฏเกณฑ์หรือใส่หลายๆชิ้นให้ดูมีเลเยอร์ก็ได้
2.บอกตัวตนด้วย Statement
ประโยคต่างๆบนเสื้อที่เราใส่ไม่ใช่เพื่อความเท่ แต่ด้วยรากของความเป็น Streetwear การบอกตัวตนผ่านประโยคคำพูดบนตัวเสื้อถือว่าเป็นสิ่งที่ Streetมากๆ 
3.Sneakers
รองเท้าเปรียบเสมือนล้อแม็กซ์สวยๆที่ทำให้รถดูดีขึ้นมาก รองเท้าผ้าใบเป็นสิ่งที่ Streetwear ขาดไม่ได้
